Untitled #1 is an experimental work of handycam footage filmed throughout Central France and Southern Italy. The work attempts to capture the often-overlooked mundanity of the divine and question the individual senses of the viewer.

Split-frame media possesses an overwhelming sense of stimulation allowing the viewer to perceive the site, through a conglomerate of visual and aural representations of space. 

From the constant chatter and techno buzz of Parisian evening, to the slow trickle of early summer rain in Como, the Artist prompts the viewer to ask themselves;

 “Do I interpret place more prominently through sound or sight?” 

The piece concludes with a continuous shot of an industrial area in Rome.

Common Wheatgrass has overtaken the previous domination of concrete, the drone of a passing ambulance creates a doppler effect as the scene of continuity is slowly brought to an end. The crux has been reached, the time of rest is now.
